The genet enclosure

Oreo didn’t really know the genets very well. They were the most secretive of all the animals, and seemed wary of everyone but the humans. Oreo had always found it a little rude that they never seemed to want to talk to him (he couldn’t understand why anyone would ever pass up the chance to talk to him) but Mimi had told him that the genets weren’t being mean – they were just very shy.
Well, shy or not, Oreo had to find out whether they knew anything about his breakfast. He padded up to their enclosure and peeked inside, but he couldn’t see anyone. Where were they hiding?
Patience wasn’t one of Oreo’s strong points. “Hey! Anyone home?” He yelled. His voice bounced off the walls and echoed back at him. There was no reply. “I know you’re in here, genets!”
Out of the corner of his eye, Oreo noticed a little silver cat-like face, peeking slowly and silently out of its hiding place. A pair of deep brown eyes regarded him warily.
“Ah, there you are! You’re Juno, aren’t you? Look, I was just wondering if you genets had seen my breakfast anywhere? I’ve lost it.”
The genet blushed and looked down coyly for a second, before darting away and disappearing back into the darkness. Oreo waited, but she didn’t reappear.
The raccoon sloped off dejectedly. “I guess not everyone can be as charismatic as me,” he mumbled. Genets were far too shy to be of any use to him. He knew he’d have to hunt for help elsewhere.

But where should he head to next?
